Lloyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practicing therapist with the Manassas Group.He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Hampden-Sydney College and his Master’s Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He completed an internship and was later awarded a Fellowship with the Department of Psychiatry at Louisiana State University Medical Center. Prior to private practice, Lloyd Robrecht Lloyd had worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He was the Clinical Director of an area mental health service agency. As a therapist, Lloyd works from a place of empowerment with adolescents, adults, families, and groups, and strives to guide clients in finding insight into their unique experiences, life situations and capacities for fulfillment. He is a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and firmly believes great healing and achievement in life can be experienced by gaining insight into and changing our thoughts, perceptions, and our behaviors. You can schedule an initial session and begin taking steps towards healing and positive change if you are experiencing difficulties with any of the following: Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Trauma Recovery, Life Empowerment, Goal Achievement, Self-esteem, Relationship Issues, Stress Management, Mindfulness/Spirituality, Addictions, Life Transitions, and Child/Adolescent Behavioral Concerns.
